Scott Johnson


It all started in September 1969...

Scott Johnson began his career in promotional products and the premium incentive industry in 1969 with Premium Incentives, Inc, a manufacturer's rep agency.  After completing a dual BS degree program in Business Management and Marketing/Advertising, Scott accepted a postion in retail sales with Shell Oil Company.  In 6 years, from an entry level territory sales rep, Scott rose through the ranks to become the Shell's Retail Sales Manager.  Then in 1988, with a new family on the way, Scott relocated back to southern California and launched a promotion agency - Marketing Services International.  From a 1-man operation in 1988, it quickly grew to over 36 employees by 1995 with annual billings in excess of $10 million.  In 1999 the world changed with the Internet becoming the future opportunity, and with that Scott entered the Internet marketing with software SaaS developed for processing promotional marketing online in his new company TLN (The Logo Network).  12 years later in 2011, TLN was purchased by a UK public company and for the next 3 years Scott coached and educated new promotional practitioners on how to build their own promotion agencies.  2014 Scott is back doing what he preaches -   building Brand equity for his customers with IMPRINTS, a new approach in promotional merchandise procurement.
